Helping leaders grow and thrive
I bring out the best in leaders (by focusing on what matters the most)
to learn about executive coaching
Leaders need a safe and confidential space to work on the issues that matter most to their success and that of the companies they serve. Whether it be communication skills, conflict resolution or something else, the issues that leaders face are always less daunting when approached from a healthy foundation of emotional intelligence. Fortunately, unlike IQ, emotional intelligence or EQ is something leaders can work on and improve.
As companies grow and change, so must their leaders

-
Conflict Resolution

“In all my years working with Wendy, she has consistently created incredibly safe spaces for discussion, asked thoughtful questions, listened intently, and provided a balanced perspective to help me arrive at points of clarity. She has truly been an invaluable partner to me in my growth as an empathetic, decisive leader and executive.”

More and more, companies are documenting an ROI due to coaching for their leaders
We know that companies benefit when their leaders are coached, individual leaders also reap the rewards. It is no secret that it is lonely at the top. It’s also widely accepted that, unlike IQ, our emotional intelligence, EQ, can improve over time. Emotional Intelligence doesn’t just spontaneously get better. Working with a coach who helps you achieve results via channeling your EQ is a great way to tap into the ROI of executive coaching. Intel has a wildly successful coaching program and credits the program to contributing about $1 billion USD per year in operating margin. According to the World Economic Forum’s 2023 Future of Jobs report, qualities associated with EQ like resilience and self awareness are of increasing importance to businesses and will continue to be in the coming years.
Wendy Whittington, MD, MMM, Executive Coach
I have spent decades in healthcare as a clinician, a leader and a resource to entrepreneurs solving important problems. I love sharing the knowledge that I picked up along the way in medicine and in helping startups succeed.
Throughout those years I recognized how very broken our healthcare system is and how much I wanted to help fix it. I also realized that I had a lot to learn about leadership and how organizations succeed.
While fixing healthcare is a daunting challenge, I credit the Masters of Medical Management program at Carnegie Mellon with giving me the confidence to think bigger and embrace an entrepreneurial spirit.
I have been humbled by so many of the terrific people I’ve worked with over the years and owe my constant learning in leadership to many colleagues who have inspired me.
Channeling all of these past experiences into coaching where I can enable your success is such a privilege. If you go on to help fix healthcare, I consider that bonus points but I’m happy to help leaders in any field.
My greatest achievements have been in helping others succeed. I’m thrilled to share my love of lifelong learning with you and to help you reach your goals.
