Frederick J. Duffy, Jr., MD, FACS
Dr. Duffy is the founding partner of Texas Plastic Surgery Associates and The Texas Center for Breast Reconstruction in Dallas. He has a busy microsurgery practice with an emphasis on reconstructive breast surgery following mastectomy. He was the first person to perform DIEP flap microsurgical breast reconstruction in North Texas. He also performs lower extremity reconstruction, pediatric plastic surgery, and aesthetic surgery with a focus on the breast and body. He has been in practice for over 20 years. He loves caring for patients and sees patients from all over Texas and the southwestern US.
Dr. Duffy has also been involved in the formation and running of several health care investments including North Central Surgical Center. He was Chair of the Governing Board at North Central when it opened in 2006 and the hospital is now USPI’s most profitable surgical hospital in the US. He is actively involved in improving global surgical access and education and is one of 4 co-founders of Haiti’s first plastic surgical training program.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with attorneys for both plaintiffs and defendants to ensure patients have received appropriate plastic/reconstructive surgical help.
